Greetings Brother Knights and family;

Spring is here and we can all look forward to longer and warmer days ahead!  Be sure to remember the passing of our in your prayers.

Last Sunday, April 10th the Knights put on a pancake breakfast in the Church Social Hall.  The breakfast was well attended and there were several Knights with their wives and family to help cook, serve and clean up.  These pancake breakfasts are a lot of fun and they raise considerable funds for our council.  Thanks to all for your continued support of these events.

On Sunday, April 3rd we held our 15th Annual Awards and Dinner Banquet.  About 40 people attended and a great time was had by all!  A big thanks goes out to Jackie Bennett for catering an excellent dinner.  After dinner we had a short program where we named the 2004 Family of the Year and the Knight of the year.  Tom and Andrea Burns and Family was named Family of the Year – our thanks goes out to the Burns for their continued support through so many events during the year, especially for the Fish Fries and the annual Rodeo Food Booth.  The Knight of the Year was Mike Westhoff - Mike is not only always there to help, he has excellent ideas and is a definite leader in our Council.   Thanks Mike!

If you haven’t already signed up, be sure to get your name to Terry Iverson for attending the ‘CPR Training” this weekend.  The training program will be offered this Sunday, April 17th.  The training program will run from 1-4 p.m.  A lot of people are already signed up so get your reservation in before the class fills up. Finally, a call to all Knights to attend the Quarterly Meeting and Highway pick-up this coming Saturday, April 16th.  Our quarterly meeting will be held at 8:00 a.m. and will run for an hour.  We will then organize into two groups to pick up the north and the south end of Highway 65.  This is the one project where if we have a good turnout of Knights, family members, friends and neighbors we can get the task done in just a few hours.  See you then – pray for sunshine!

Thank you and Happy Spring to you all!

Yours in Christ,

Todd Nelson, Grand Knight
