Greetings Brother Knights;

Here we are at the beginning of another new year.  Have you made all of your resolutions?  If not, add participating in this year's events with the KC's to your list.  This upcoming Lenten season we are having SEVEN fish fry Fridays and will need your help with set-up, serving, cooking and clean up.  Contact Tom Burns (651) 462-2253 or say, "YES" when he calls for your help.

We are also conducting the BINGO games again in January at the VFW in Isanti. During December we helped raise $1,359.00 for the Isanti Food Shelf.  The first two Mondays in January will have proceeds going to Operation "Up-Link" for phone cards to families of active duty personnel and the remainder of the month's proceeds will go towards our new kitchen.

Don't forget our Fishing Contest Sunday, January 25th.  Bring your family and sell those tickets.  Contact Ron Wicht if you have any prizes you can donate.

Once again this year Ray Cronin (763) 444-6586 is conducting the Free Throw Contest at the middle school in Isanti.  I believe it is the 22nd of January.  Thanks Ray for running this again this year.  The District contest will be on the 14th of February in Braham.

Sign up for Adoration during Lent. Fr. Jose has asked the Knights to commit to at least one hour between 3 and 8 PM.  A signup sheet will be available at our January 22 meeting.  See you there.

Our Pancake breakfast on January 11th was once again a success.  Thank you to all who helped and especially to Duane and Debbie Hermanson.  We would also like to thank Anna Freund, Kelly Nelson, and Crystal Hermanson for flipping pancakes and helping with the dishes.  You did a great job!  We raised $724.53 for the new kitchen with another Free Will Offering.

Mention to your college students that the KC's have both student loans available from the State and a scholarship for college.  We will draw names from applications for the Dick Lee Memorial Scholarship.  Forms are available at the church.

Check out our KC web site that Vic has posted on the Internet.  It has our next six months events listed.  http://holyrosary10238.tripod.com

Ole showed up at work with a black eye.  He explained it was caused by "SEENUS trouble".  "No, no" said one of his co-workers, "It's called SINUS trouble."  "Vell, all I know, said Ole, "is that I was out with this married voman and her husband SEEN us."
